Poetry of Ahmad Zahoor represents down-trodden segment of our society, said Dr. Inamul Haq Javeid, educationist, well known thinker and Managing Director of National Book Foundation (NBF).
He stated this while address a launching ceremony of Ahmad Zahoor’s book titled ‘Wo khirki ab beh khulti ha’ held under Harf-o-Awaz here at NBF Auditorium.
A large number of poets, scholars and people from different walks of life attended the ceremony.
Dr. Inamul Haq Javeid said, “we found very impressive angles of expression in the poetry of Ahmad Zahoor who has been depicting his ideas in his poetry showing himself as firm believer of his ideology of life and supporter of poor people.
“The poet is towering supporter of dawn trodden segments of the society and inspires them to stand firmly against the tides of time and aggression of powerful segment of our society,” said Dr. Inamul Haq Javeid.
He said that NBF has spacious and well maintained auditorium for holding the launching ceremonies of books on prose or poetry to serve the nation through creating a good habit of reading and introducing well known authors, poets and scholars. Jabbar Mirza said, “We found the novel ideas of true love, waiting for good days to come and support depressed people and it is no denying fact that the poet knows how to say difficult and complicated expressions in an easy way.”
The guest speaker, Nasim-e-Saher analysed minutely the different aspects of poetry of Ahmad Zahoor and congratulated him on his launching of first edition of collection of poetry.The news.
