Roots National Institute of Teachers Training 3-day Workshop


The Roots National Institute of Teachers Training and Education (RNITTE) hosted a three-day ‘Qualifications, Curriculum & Assessments Programme (QCAP) 2014’ and organised sessions and discussions on school improvement and development plans, says a press release.
The main objective of the three-day recreational teambuilding leadership workshop was to create and promote enabling ecosystem for the 21st century competencies.
The programme was specifically structured to enhance leadership capacities predominantly in the realm of the academic sphere. The programme aimed to make school leaders specialists in the 21st century teaching methodology and define their role as a leader to take accountability and responsibility of their respective domains.
The training was conducted by Roots Millennium School leaders and subject leads. The programme was structured to make the school leaders to manage the schools and the teaching staff effectively for the effective implementation of the 21st century teaching and learning. Moreover, the school leaders were guided to monitor the academics and curriculum of Montessori, Primary and Lower Secondary Programme, along with global citizenship, music, robotics and health and fitness curriculum.
Speaking on the occasion, Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq, TI, CEO of the Roots Millennium Schools, reiterated the need for implementing the 21st century teaching approaches across classrooms.Dawn.
