Minister Invites Protesting Teachers for Talks


KARACHI: January 23: Sindh Minister for Education Nisar Khuhro on Wednesday invited all teachers association, including primary school teachers for dialogue to resolve their issues. In a statement, the minister said he would invite teachers` association leaders for dialogue on his return to the country. Khuhro is in London on official visit to attend Education World Forum Summit 2014. The forum has arranged a 3-day education leadership summit for education ministers in London. Summit conference will focus and discuss the holistic education strategies and reforms for digital access. Governor directs completion of flyovers in 30 days
KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan has directed administrator Karachi to get all under-construction flyovers completed within 30 days and open these for public. The governor was presiding over a meeting to review the pace of the development projects/schemes in the city, said an official statement on Wednesday.
