KARACHI: Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Administrator Brig Muhammad Abdullah has emphasised that children should be provided best education, and that they be groomed properly to become successful and dynamic individuals in life. Addressing the annual prize distribution function of the Defence Authority High School Ph-IV as its chief guest, he said education was the essence of life and the permeated spirit of development and progressive activities. Brig Abdullah also appreciated the confidence and superb performance of the young students. Earlier, Principal Saulat Qasim in her welcome address said that educational programmes and activities in the school focused on intellectual and emotional development of the students to make them confident, dynamic and challenging individuals. The students on the occasion presented an enthralling variety of programmes. English play ‘Deception’ depicted how ambitions wishes brought harm in life. An Urdu play ‘Jaali Peer’ was superbly presented, and the spectators applauded the remarkable performance of the students. At the end, the chief guest distributed shields and certificates among the students who excelled in various curricular and co-curricular activities. The DHA administrator awarded Rs 100,000 to the school administration for its outstanding performance. He also gave certificates to the teachers and staff members of the school who had significantly contributed towards the progress and development of the institute.
