IDPs advised to get children enrolled in school


PESHAWAR (APP): The provincial education department has asked internally displace persons (IDPs) to get their school going children enrolled in nearby government schools for education. The department has informed IDPs\’ students of North Waziristan Agency through media and advertisements that they could get admission in any nearby government school, while submission of formal registration or school certificate is not mandatory for them for admission. It said arrangements have been made to provide educate facility to IDPs\’ children at tent schools set up at the site of IDPs\’ camps, adding that the services of IDPs teachers would be utilized in these schools. In addition to this, the Education Department is considering to open fifteen FREE tuition centers for IDPs students.
