Educational Facilities in S Punjab to be improved


Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that steps are being taken to ensure required facilities in the educational institutions of southern Punjab.
Talking to a private television channel, he said that both girls and boys studying in different schools of southern Punjab would be provided the missing facilities.
He said that construction of rooms besides other necessary facilities would also be ensured at the schools functioning in the less-developed areas of Punjab.
He said that campuses should be set up in Rahim Yar Khan so that the students hailing from remote and far-flung areas could enjoy educational facilities in a proper manner.
He appreciated the students of Bahawalpur for winning medals in different educational disciplines.
Lauding the Prime Minister’s Business Youth Loan Scheme, he said that the scheme would generate economic activity in the country, besides improving the lifestyle of the families of the young people.
To a question, he said that the Punjab government would not compromise on the issue of terrorism.
Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had taken measures to check the menace of terrorism.
To another question regarding problems being faced by Pakistani students in the United Kingdom, he assured that the matter would be resolved with the help of the authorities concerned. Daily Times.
