Beaconhouse Educational Complex Olympiad attracts Large Crowd


A unique and first of its kind bouldering wall contest was held at Beaconhouse Olympiad 2014, says a press release
Deputy Ambassador of Hungary Janos Lastofka also exhibited his skills by taking an active part in the contest along with other participants. Bouldering Wall contest was scheduled on the second day of Beaconhouse Educational Complex (BEC) Olympiad in which 44 teams consisting four members each participated while only 31 managed to reach the final round.
Four-day BEC Olympiad is being organised at Beaconhouse Educational Complex this year with a large variety of programs, contests and shows. On the first day of the Olympiad a large number of participants from twin cities took part in different sports competitions including Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Table Tennis and others while state-of-the-art facilities were provided for every single game. Country’s largest ever bouldering contest was held on second day which got attention of the crowd and huge number appeared to participate.
The competition was won by Sargand and Nasir Kasuri, Executive Director BSS, Northern Region presented him the winning prize of an IPad while Hateem Rafix won the girls’ contest. The amazing carnival was also held on the second day, which amused the crowd through different tasty and eye catching events including food stalls, exciting rides and bouncy castle while other attractions included a spectacular horse show, tent pegging and horse dancing to the music.The news.
