Students of the defunct Al-Razi Medical College on Wednesday protested outside the Peshawar Press Club against the delaying tactics by the Khyber Medical University to give them admission.
Holding banners and placards inscribed with their demands, the students shouted slogans to draw attention of the Peshawar High Court chief justice towards a verdict given by the court in their favour about three months ago.
The students told mediapersons that due to lack of required facilities, the PHC had ordered closure of the Al-Razi Medical College and directed the concerned authorities to adjust the 100 students in KMU.
“The verdict was given about three months ago, but the Khyber Medical University is least bothered to adjust us,” they lamented.
The students said they had also held meetings with PMDC in this connection, but to no avail.Dawn.
